Ollie and Emily in Paris
Below are some phrases that Ollie could say as he’s walking around the streets of Paris or going up stairs. The first ones are good for Emily too, if she tells him what to do then he acts it out, though his learning content would be a bit much for her. Otherwise the perfect ones for Emily would be to point to things she sees to describe their colours. ‘C’est rouge !’ for example.

Emily: Monte ! Ollie: Je monte ! (While walking up some stairs.)
Emily: Descends ! Ollie: Je descends ! (While walking down some stairs.)
Ollie:
Je marche et je tourne à gauche ! (I’m walking and I’m turning left! - while walking around a street corner)
Je marche et je tourne à droite ! (I’m walking and I’m turning right! - while walking around a street corner)
Je monte ! (While walking up some stairs.)
Je descends ! (While walking down some stairs.)
C’est quoi ? C’est la tour Eiffel ! Je vois la tour Eiffel ! (What’s that? It’s the Eiffel Tower! I see the Eiffel Tower!)
C’est quoi ? C’est l’Arc de Triomphe ! Je vois l’Arc de Triomphe ! (What’s that? It’s the Arc de Triomphe! I see the Arc de Triomphe!)
Please, if you find a goose (surprisingly common) get him to say “Je vois un oie !”. It’s his thing.

Emily:

etc. etc.
